Prof. Peter M. Msolla
Msolla was educated at the University of Nairobi in Kenya from 1968-72 where he obtained his BVM. He obtained his DTVM at Edinburgh University in 1976 and his PhD at Glasgow University in 1979. He has served as Minister, Ministry of Agricultural and Food Security and Co-operatives, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Minister, Ministry for Higher Education, Science and Technology, Tanzania; professor of veterinary medicine and deputy vice chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro, Tanzania; district veterinary officer in Sumbawanga, Tanzania from 1972-73; regional veterinary officer of the Mbeya Region from 1973-75; head of the department of veterinary medicine and public health from 1984-89; associate dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from 1987-89; and chairman of the Tanzania Veterinary Association from 1983-93.
