Prof. Gerald Claudius Monela
Professor Gerald Claudius Monela is the former Vice chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) served from 16 June 2006 – 26 April 2017. He attained PhD in 1996 from Agricultural University Norway (AUN) and other specialized Training in USA 1990/1991 on multi-resource management. He completed BSc.Forestry (Hons) in 1986 and Msc.Forestry in 1989 at SUA. Prior to joining Sokoine University of Agriculture, he obtained a Diploma in Forestry, FTI Olmotonyi Arusha, Tanzania.
